A Nordic tactical board game that gained popularity during the Middle Ages. In Nordic culture, it was akin to chess. The game features variations that differ in:
- board dimensions: 7, 9, 11, 13
- winning criteria: advance the king to the edge or corner of the board.
- king encirclement criteria: from two or four directions.
- the quantity of offensive (black) and defensive (white) pieces.
You can engage in the game with artificial intelligence, with another player on a single device, or against an opponent online in multiplayer mode. The offensive black pieces make the initial move. Following that, the participants alternate turns. All pieces traverse vertically or horizontally for any number of squares.
